Meet the Caregiver: Kassandra

At Hope Senior Home Care, our caregivers come to us with different backgrounds and
experiences — but they all share one common thread: a deep desire to serve others. This month,
we are proud to highlight one of our dedicated LPNs, Kassandra, who has been a valued
member of the Hope team since 2015.
Kassandra’s caregiving journey began in the most personal way — caring for her own mother.
As many families know, caring for a loved one can be both rewarding and challenging.
Expectations are high, emotions run deep, and the responsibility is significant. Kassandra
embraced the role joyfully, and somewhere along the way, she caught what she lovingly calls the
“caregiver bug.” Her passion to help others has only grown stronger since.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, Kassandra takes great pride in maintaining her LPN certification
and continually expanding her knowledge through additional home care training. She
understands that excellent care requires both heart and skill — and she is committed to
strengthening both.
During the summer months, you might find Kassandra gardening alongside her clients —
planting fruits, vegetables, and flowers. She loves encouraging clients to stay active and engaged
in the activities they enjoy. When supporting clients in assisted living or other facilities,
Kassandra makes a point of participating in activities with them. Her involvement not only
stimulates residents but also brings genuine joy and connection through socialization.
When she’s not working, Kassandra enjoys reading, listening to jazz music, walking, and
shopping. She shares that she loves working at Hope Senior Home Care and appreciates the
positive, supportive environment. One of the things she looks forward to most is our Hope all-
staff get-togethers — celebrating the team that makes such meaningful work possible.
Kassandra, thank you for your compassion, professionalism, and the joy you bring to your clients
and our team. We are grateful to have you as part of the Hope family!
